Effective Advocacy and Action Against Sex Trafficking in America

Mary Hines, PhD. and Calvin Fanning

Sex Trafficking is a reality in our area and in our country. Education is needed about this epidemic so we can become more aware of how to identify and serve victims of trafficking, and engage as effective advocates against this crime. The Samaritan Women is a nationally recognized Christian organization providing restorative residential care to victims, and working to bring about an end to domestic human trafficking through partnerships, advocacy and awareness. Two representatives of TSW will provide insight into this crime and suggest ways participants might become contemporary abolitionists.
